TGIW is an informal networking event where students, graduates and entrepreneurs are all in the same place and are encouraged to talk about their thoughts, ideas and aspirations. Each second Wednesday of every month we invite entrepreneurial speakers along to TGIW to entertain you and help you learn about the different paths people take on their journey as entrepreneurs.
After entrepreneurs have shared their stories there will be time for questions and networking over wine and beer. This gives you a great opportunity to find out more about how to overcome problems or how Rise Up can help you on your enterprising journey.
This month’s Thank Goodness It’s Wednesday is on Wednesday 8 February at 6pm in King’s Gate and it’s all about ‘getting back on that horse!’. The Rise Up team have invited Newcastle University graduate and founder of Zento, Oli Hills, to talk through his business ventures. Oli will give us a realistic insight into what it is really like to develop a business idea including seeking investment, learning by your mistakes and getting back on that horse! Register for your free ticket.
As always, you can expect inspiring stories, new contacts and free pizza. Hope to see you there!
